FEATURES:

ACCUVAC Rescue can be used anywhere in any suction situation. It is equally suitable for suctioning the patient‘s oral cavity, nose, throat and bronchial system and for deflating air mattresses and inflatable splints. The crashresistant wall mounting (EN 1789) protects the suction pump from damage in ambulances. In the hospital a wall mounting safely holds the ACCUVAC Rescue.

ACCUVAC Rescue is a mobile, portable, electrically operated medical aspirator for temporary use with adults, children and infants:

• aspirating accumulations of blood, secretions and food from the oral cavity, the nose and throat region and the bronchial system;

• deflating vacuum matresses and inflatable splints.

In expert hands, the ACCUVAC Rescue can eliminate obstructions in the airways and so prevent the risk

of respiratory failure. It can be used in buildings, in

the open air and during transport.

The indications include:

• Neuromuscular disorders, e.g. paraplegia, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)

• Late symptoms of polio

• Muscular dystrophies

• Cystic fibrosis

• Kyphoskoliosis and posttubercular syndrome

• Chronic obstructive lung diseases, e.g. severe chronic bronchitis

• Pulmonary fibrosis, e.g. silicosis

• Other forms of alveolar hypoventilation
