• Usage — The GD-450M is a straight micro-handpiece (1:1 ratio) designed to work with 70 mm burrs (drill bits) for bone drilling/perforation and related microsurgical tasks.
• Transmission Ratio & Coupling — It uses a 1:1 gear ratio and is coded with a blue ring, per the Micro-Line convention.
• Compatibility — It’s part of the “micro-Line” modular system: the GD-450M can be connected to compatible motors (e.g. low-speed motors such as the family around Aesculap Microspeed uni) and used alongside other Micro-Line handpieces or tools.
• Sterilisation & Reprocessing — The device is designed for medical use and must undergo validated cleaning/disinfection and sterilization procedures (e.g. steam sterilization under vacuum at appropriate temperature), in line with manufacturer’s instructions.
• Application Domain — It is intended for neurosurgical / cranial procedures (or small-bone surgery) when associated with the correct motor and burr setup.
